Medieval Market in Almenar
It takes place the second weekend in June.
In 1997, the 850th anniversary of the granting of the Carta Pobla to the residents of Almenar was commemorated with the celebration of the first Medieval Market in the old town, where residents, dressed in period clothing, participated in demonstrations of medieval crafts.
Every year, we continue to offer exhibitions, performances, dinners and many other activities, all with a medieval setting and with the same passion as the first day. There are activities for everyone, from the youngest to the oldest, for visitors and residents alike. During a weekend, the town is transformed and the streets are filled with colors and celebration.
