Earth Fair in Caldes de Malavella

Caldes de Malavella hosts a new edition of the Earth Fair at the end of the Rambla de Rufí (Espai Firal)!

The fair, now a well-established event on the local calendar, invites residents and visitors to enjoy a day full of activities designed for all ages, with the aim of promoting coexistence, respect for the environment and animal welfare.

Throughout the day, the fairgrounds will host over thirty stalls selling crafts, food, and local products, offering the chance to discover local creations, artisanal works, and initiatives linked to the region. At the same time, several animal welfare organizations will present their work and introduce animals seeking new homes, reinforcing the charitable and awareness-raising aspect that characterizes the fair.

Children and families will also find numerous recreational activities, such as pony rides, workshops, and educational events. One of the highlights will be the outdoor family escape room "Save the Planet," an interactive game that invites adults and children to overcome challenges while reflecting on the importance of caring for the environment.

One of the highlights of the day will be the Canicaldes 2026 - Bruc Memorial, one of the most renowned canicross races in the region. This sporting competition, which combines sport and nature, will bring together participants and their dogs on a 7-kilometer course, as well as a children's category. This year, it will also have a special emotional significance as it pays tribute to Bruc, a much-loved dog within the canicross community.

The fair will also include dog shows, family activities, children's workshops, performances, and cultural events, as well as spaces to discover local wildlife and participate in charitable initiatives. In the afternoon, magic and entertainment will provide a fun-filled finale to a lively day.

The Earth Fair is, ultimately, an invitation to enjoy a different kind of day, in contact with nature and with a strong sense of community. It's the perfect opportunity to share, discover, and celebrate the values of sustainability, solidarity, and community.
