Guided visit to Confluencia de la Tordera and the Santa Coloma stream
Fogars de la Selva offers a guided walking tour from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. to discover the natural and cultural heritage linked to water, within the framework of the Tordera route and the Arbúcies stream.
The activity will last approximately three hours and will follow a 7.22 km route, with an elevation gain of about 88 meters and an easy difficulty level. The meeting point will be the Museo de la Pagesia, in the Serra de Marina square, from where a walk suitable for all ages will begin.
The tour will visit various points of interest in Fogars de la Selva, including the Museum of Rural Life, the Church of Sant Cebrià, the confluence of the Tordera and Santa Coloma streams, and the Can Simon gauging station. The Tordera River will serve as the central theme of a route that allows visitors to observe the landscape, gain a better understanding of how waterways function, and discover the historical relationship between water and the land.
The visit will be led by the company ADEMC and is part of the Tourdera and Hydroscopia projects, aimed at raising awareness of the environmental, landscape and heritage values linked to the rivers and streams of the area.
The activity is free, but prior registration is required. A great opportunity to spend a morning walking, exploring unique areas of Fogars de la Selva, and discovering the natural beauty of the Tordera River and its tributaries.
