Guided tour of Vic on Sundays in October

What can a city's lampposts tell us? This October, the Vic Tourist Office invites you to discover this with a guided tour dedicated to historic lampposts. It's an opportunity to see public spaces in a new light and explore the history of urban lighting, from both a heritage and technical perspective.

During the tour, the streetlights become the guiding thread of a stroll through Vic. Elements that often go unnoticed invite us to focus on the city's details and wonder how street lighting has evolved. The project thus combines a curiosity about daily life in other eras with an exploration of the technical solutions that have shaped the urban landscape.

The tour will be led by Miquel Cañellas Planas, chronicler and heritage specialist of Vic, who will guide participants on this discovery. Whether you know Vic well or are visiting for the first time, this activity offers a reason to stroll at a leisurely pace and observe an aspect of its heritage that doesn't always take center stage. It's a proposal designed for those who enjoy walking, observing, and learning new local stories.
