"Gresca a la Fresca" (Open Air Revelry) in Sallent
Sallent is preparing for a summer full of music, film and good atmosphere with a new edition of "Gresca a la Fresca" (Open Air Revelry), a cultural program designed to enjoy the nights outdoors and turn different spaces in the municipality into meeting points for residents and visitors.
Traditional dances will play a prominent role, with performances by La Catalana, Francis and Andreu, Grup Eclipse, and Nazari Music Live. A diverse and festive program will invite the public to gather in the square, reconnect, listen to familiar songs, and dance in a friendly and engaging atmosphere. Each evening will offer a new opportunity to share the joy of summer nights and enjoy live music.
The program will also include an open-air cinema screening in Pere Sallés Park, featuring the film Frontera. This free event offers a chance to enjoy cinema under the stars in a pleasant setting open to all ages.
Another major attraction will be the Concerts al Castell series, which combines heritage and music in a unique setting. The lineup includes performances by artists such as Juriol, Manu Guix, WYC Quartet, and The River Troupe Gospel, featuring diverse styles ranging from singer-songwriter to jazz and gospel. The experience will be enhanced by food trucks, perfect for dinner or drinks before and after the concerts.
Gresca a la Fresca is an invitation to leave your house, occupy public spaces, and experience Sallent through culture. A diverse, summery series of events to sing, dance, feel moved, and share good times with the community.
Don't miss it!
