Verbena of San Juan and Flame of Canigó in Santa Maria de Palautordera

The San Juan festival, on the night of June 23rd, is one of the most special of the year!

Santa Maria de Palautordera celebrates a special night to welcome summer and share one of the most magical celebrations of the year with neighbors, family and friends.

The festivities will begin with the departure of the Flame of Canigó from the library, one of the most emblematic symbols of the festival and of Catalan popular culture. Following this, the flame will arrive at the Can Sala square, where speeches will be given and the brazier will be lit, marking the start of the most symbolic moments of the evening.

The celebration will continue with a fire show by the Devils and Devils of Palautordera, who will fill the space with light, rhythm, and emotion. Fire, sparks, and the power of popular culture will thrill the audience in an evening brimming with intensity.

Afterwards, there will be a packed lunch dinner, with a picnic area set up with tables and chairs so everyone can enjoy an al fresco meal in good company. A bar will also be available to round off the evening.

The music will arrive with the big open-air dance at Pla de Can Sala park, with a DJ who will provide rhythm and party until well into the night.

A proposal to experience San Juan with tradition, joy and village spirit, lighting up the shortest night of the year with fire, music and a great desire to celebrate.
