Sant Menna, Sentmenat Winter Festival

Sentmenat celebrates Sant Menna, the Winter Festival, once again!

To celebrate Sant Menna on November 11th, Sentmenat is preparing a series of activities in honor of its patron saint. There will be something for everyone , with events for all ages.

Among the first events is the Winter Festival, kicked off with a youth party organized by Espai Jove La Textil, launching a weekend packed with activities. Visitors can also explore an interesting exhibition of historical photographs of Sentmenat, organized by the Friends of the Museum, inviting them to rediscover the town's past. The Choir presents a documentary about the region and its people, delving into local history.

Over the weekend, music and dance take center stage with the Country Dance and the traditional Ball del Cargol, one of the most anticipated events, featuring local groups and community organizations. There will also be theater performances, such as "El Soldadet" by Galiot Teatre, and dance performances like those by the Esbart Maragall group.

The festivities continue with the Giants' Parade, which brings together groups from different towns to fill the streets with color and joy, and with the traditional floral offering and mass in honor of Sant Menna, the central event of the celebration. There will also be plenty of activities for senior citizens, such as excursions organized by the Senior Citizens' Center, and sporting events like the Sentmenat Surroundings Walk.

To complete the experience, the funfair and American Motors Sentmenat add a festive and family-friendly touch to a program that combines tradition, culture and leisure, making Sant Menna a lively and participatory festival for everyone.
