'Cursa del Castell' of Argençola
Argençola is celebrating another edition of the Cursa del Castell, a sporting event that combines physical activity, nature, and exploring the surrounding area. This year, the start and finish lines will be located in Contrast, from where participants can begin a route through the paths, trails, and forests of the region.
The event offers two options, running and walking, so everyone can participate at their own pace. There will also be two routes adapted to different fitness levels: a short 6.5-kilometer circuit, especially suitable for families and children, and a longer 12-kilometer circuit, designed for those who want to enjoy a more challenging route through the natural surroundings of Argençola.
The day will begin in the morning with registration verification and the distribution of race numbers and t-shirts. Following this, all races will start together. The competition will include women's, men's, and children's categories, the latter for participants up to 12 years old.
At the end, there will be an awards ceremony and a community reception, a moment to recharge and share the experience after the run. Registration is free and includes a commemorative t-shirt while supplies last.
The Argençola Castle Race is a great opportunity to practice outdoor sports, discover new paths and explore the landscape of the municipality from an active perspective.
An open proposal for different ages and levels that invites you to enjoy Contrast and the surroundings of Argençola amidst sport, nature and territory.
