Sort Autumn Fair

Sort celebrates its Autumn Fair!

A multi-sector fair where you'll also find locally sourced products, crafts, and fun, festive, and cultural activities for everyone. For two days, the traditional market of crafts, local products, and regional cuisine will fill the streets of Sort with activity and a festive atmosphere.

Transhumance will be one of the main themes of the program, with exhibitions, audiovisual presentations and activities that will allow visitors to learn more about this livestock practice and its role in shaping the landscape and mountain life.

The fair will also pay special attention to the Xisqueta sheep, a breed closely linked to the Pyrenees. There will be an exhibition of sheep, activities related to wool, and demonstrations that will introduce the public to the knowledge and trades traditionally associated with livestock farming.

Crafts, gastronomy, and locally sourced products will complete the experience. Among the offerings will be workshops, a wool craft exhibition, and a new edition of the Ratafia Competition, along with family activities and shows for different age groups.

Music will also be present throughout the weekend, with concerts and performances that will help create an atmosphere in the streets and spaces of the fair.

The Sort Autumn Fair is thus presented as an opportunity to discover the livestock and artisan traditions of Pallars, to get closer to mountain knowledge and to enjoy autumn in a fully Pyrenean environment.
