Vallgorguina Festival

The Vallgorguina Festival is one of the most anticipated events of the year, an event that fills the municipality with music, culture and tradition.

One of the central themes of the festival will be the traditional festive rivalry between the Jabalíes (Wild Boars) and Guillots (Little Pigs), who will once again compete in various events and activities throughout the program. Games, contests, and challenges will add a participatory element to a series of days designed to encourage people to get out and about and immerse themselves in the festive atmosphere.

The program will combine sports and recreational activities with cultural offerings, exhibitions, theater, workshops, and family-friendly events. There will also be opportunities for communal meals, vermouth gatherings, and gastronomic get-togethers, providing a chance to share some of the more relaxed moments of the celebration.

Popular culture will have a prominent presence with giants, trabucaires (musketeers), bastoners (stick dancers), castellers (human tower builders), sardana dances, and correfoc (fire run). The parades will wind through several streets of the town, transforming the center of Vallgorguina into one of the main stages of the festival.

As night falls, music takes center stage with concerts, dancing, DJ sets, and activities designed to keep the celebration going until the early hours. There will also be plenty of children's activities, games, and other initiatives aimed at families.

The Fiesta Mayor will culminate with the final count between Jabalíes and Guillots and a closing snack, bringing to a close a few intense days of tradition, fun and festive atmosphere in Vallgorguina.
