Little Festival of Saint Burget of Monells

The Little Festival of San Burget de Monells is back for another year!

The day will offer activities throughout the morning, beginning with a gathering of animals, tractors, and farming tools. At noon, the traditional Sant Burget ring-shaped cake will be distributed to all participants. The day will conclude with a musical vermouth session featuring the group Hada Verde, who promise to liven up the atmosphere with their music.

The festival is organized by the Monells Festival Committee, with the collaboration of the Cruïlles, Monells, and Sant Sadurní de l'Heura Town Councils. This celebration is a perfect opportunity to discover Monells, a charming medieval village built around an old castle, of which only the walls remain. Monells is known for its traditional architecture and natural surroundings, which invite you to stroll and enjoy the tranquility of the place.

In addition to the scheduled activities, visitors can explore the village's cobbled streets and squares, where they'll find small shops and restaurants offering typical regional dishes. The Sant Burget Little Festival is not only a local celebration but also a way to connect with the culture and traditions of this beautiful part of Catalonia.
