Romanyam - Gavarres Gastronomic and Artisan Market

Romanyà de la Selva (Santa Cristina d'Aro) celebrates the second edition of the Gavarres Gastronomic and Artisan Market, Romanyam, a day that invites you to discover the products, landscapes and traditions of this territory in a privileged environment.

Throughout the day, the heart of Romanyà will be filled with food and artisan stalls, featuring locally sourced products and offerings from local producers and businesses. The culinary scene will allow visitors to start their day with a hearty breakfast, stay for lunch, and sample a variety of regional specialties.

The fair will offer much more than just food. The program will include live music, traditional games, workshops, guided tours and excursions, as well as activities to discover the natural and cultural heritage of Les Gavarres. Literature will also be featured with a route dedicated to Mercè Rodoreda, who has close ties to Romanyà de la Selva.

Another attraction will be the exploration of prehistory and megalithic heritage, with activities centered around the dolmen of the Daina Cave. Visitors will also have the opportunity to learn more about the local vegetation through activities related to aromatic plants and the traditional uses of the landscape.
