This event is over.

Tàrrega hosts a new edition of the Sardines & Marinada Festival, a cultural event that champions everyone's right to enjoy music, arts, and culture on equal terms. Organized by the Alba Association and with significant volunteer participation, the festival promotes a community-based, accessible, and fully inclusive model.

The program combines live music, performing arts, popular culture, and activities designed for audiences of all ages. The musical performances will explore a wide range of rhythms, from African sounds fused with electronic beats to rock, ska, cumbia, surf, and party anthems. DJ sets and cover concerts will keep the party going well into the night.

Families can participate in accessible circus workshops, painting and face painting, as well as enjoy an interactive puppet show. Inclusive dance will also play a prominent role with a performance by women who dance in wheelchairs, followed by a workshop open to the public.

The festival will feature a sensory space, a calming and breastfeeding area, and various accessibility resources. These will include hearing loops, vibrating backpacks, noise-canceling headphones, signage with pictograms, easy-to-read materials, accessible restrooms, and a team prepared to address specific needs.

The day will also include a parade of folk culture, a photography exhibition, craft stalls, and a diverse selection of food trucks. And of course, there will be the traditional grilled sardines.

A date to share, dance, discover and demonstrate that a more participatory, diverse and accessible culture is possible.

Don't miss it!
