Santa Cristina d'Aro celebrates Sant Jordi's Day with a day full of activities in Plaza Mn. Baldiri Reixac.

The Sant Jordi Fair presents a full program that combines literature, popular culture and family activities over several days, turning the municipality into a meeting place around books and culture.

The main day of the fair, in Mossèn Baldiri Reixac square, offers a full day of activities. Among the highlights are a reading aloud of the book "El poble dels Centfocs: Llegendes de les Gavarres" (The Village of the Centfocs: Legends of Les Gavarres), as well as a sardana performance by the Cobla Mediterrània, which will add a touch of tradition to the day.

The program also includes participatory activities such as a calligraphy workshop and a giant Scrabble game, as well as innovative offerings like Lectuguau, a reading workshop with dogs designed for children. The day will conclude with a hot chocolate gathering, a musical performance by the Marxing Band from the Music School, and the presentation of the Mercè Rodoreda Children's Writing Competition Awards.

The youngest children will also be able to enjoy a Sant Jordi children's show, while throughout the day there will be book signings by authors, reinforcing the link with literature and creation.

In addition, the program is expanded with complementary activities such as a talk on education and emotional well-being, and a "Rural Doctor" workshop, as well as the celebration of the 1st Educational Fair of Santa Cristina d'Aro, which brings a pedagogical dimension to the event.
