Reception of the Flame of Saint John in El Molar

El Molar is preparing to experience a day full of tradition, brotherhood and celebration with the arrival of the Flame of Canigó and the celebration of the San Juan festival.

The day will begin with a procession departing for Reus to collect the Flama, the symbolic fire that is spread throughout the territory each year to light the bonfires of Sant Joa n. Upon returning to the municipality, the Plaça del Molar will host the ceremony of handing over the Flama to the different towns of Priorat, strengthening the links between municipalities and keeping alive a tradition that represents the shared culture and brotherhood between the Països Catalans.

In the evening, the celebration will continue at the school grounds with the Sant Joan festival. Attendees can share a packed dinner in a friendly, community atmosphere, with bar service available throughout the festivities.

The cake and cava will add a traditional touch to the evening, while the Charlotte duo will be in charge of livening up the dancing and entertaining the audience with a festive musical performance.
