The Fiesta Mayor of Pelacalç (Ventalló) is a deeply rooted celebration in the municipality, full of traditions and a festive atmosphere.
The celebration will begin at 10 a.m. with the solemn service. Following this, the music of the Cobla Ciutat de Girona will accompany the sardana dancing, one of the most anticipated moments of the event and a great opportunity to enjoy Catalan folk culture.
At midday, the gathering will continue with a communal lunch at 1:30 p.m., designed for sharing a meal and extending the day in a friendly and festive atmosphere. The price is €18, and tickets must be purchased before Monday, August 11. Attendees should bring their own plate, glass, and cutlery.
The Aplec a la Virgen del Olmo will take place on Saturday, August 15, 2026. An opportunity to reunite, dance sardanas, and keep alive one of Pelacalç's most beloved traditions.
