Mostremp - Rural film festival in Pallars

Mostremp is the Pallars Jussà rural film festival!

It was born in 2012 by the initiative of a group of friends and film lovers, constituted as the Friends of Cinema Association of Tremp Mostremp, which assumed its organization continuously until 2023. Since then, the Tremp City Council has taken over with the will to guarantee.

Mostremp is a short film festival whose main objective is to promote local film production and, at the same time, to showcase our regions to the world through cinema.

The festival concentrates much of its programming in Tremp and, for one week in August, becomes a meeting point for film lovers. During these days, the public can enjoy screenings of the short films in competition, children's film screenings, panel discussions, and talks with directors and other invited professionals.

This diverse program allows attendees to delve into the world of cinema, learn about its creative processes, and establish closer contact with its protagonists. Furthermore, the "Mostremp sobre Rodes" initiative takes a selection of short films to various neighboring towns, with the aim of bringing the festival to the entire region.
