Museu de la Pagesia de Fogars de la Selva

Fogars de la Selva hosts the guided walk "Changing Landscape, Invasive Waves", a proposal to discover the natural environment of the municipality and learn about some of the changes that affect ecosystems and the landscape.

This activity is part of the Montnegre i el Corredor Natural Park's autumn guided walks program and offers an accessible route for observing the area from an environmental perspective. During the walk, participants will learn about the presence of invasive species and understand how these can modify habitats, compete with native vegetation, and gradually transform natural spaces.

The meeting point for the hike will be the Fogars de la Selva Farming Museum, from where a 6.5-kilometer walk lasting approximately three hours will begin. The route combines walking, observation, and guided explanations, making it a great opportunity to enjoy nature while deepening your understanding of the environment.

The proposal is designed for people interested in the landscape, biodiversity and the discovery of the environment, as well as for families who wish to share an outdoor activity during the autumn.

To participate, prior registration is required, as places are allocated in advance. The activity has a reduced price and different rates depending on age, with free admission for children under 18.

A walk to look at the landscape with different eyes and better understand the processes that transform the natural spaces of Fogars de la Selva.
