Meeting of the "Giants" of the seafaring people of Catalonia - L'Estartit

L'Estartit hosts a new edition of the Meeting of Marine Giants of Catalonia!

A very special event that will fill the municipality with popular culture, maritime tradition and a festive atmosphere.

Llevantina Square will be the meeting point for this celebration, where giants from different towns will share the spotlight with the local giants in a day designed for young and old alike. The festivities will begin with the raising of the giants, an ideal moment to see the figures up close, discover their details, and enjoy the beauty and personality of each group.

Next, the parade will travel along the seafront to the Molinet and the roundabout by the tower, bringing music, color, and movement to the streets of l'Estartit. It will be a vibrant parade, with giants, gralla players, and participants who will thrill the audience in a unique setting, with the sea as a backdrop.

The event will continue with the Giants' Groups, a space to recognize the work of all participating groups and highlight the festive heritage they represent. There will also be speeches and an individual dance performance by each group, allowing everyone to enjoy the dances and styles unique to each group.

The festivities will culminate in a fraternal dance, a symbol of unity, tradition, and appreciation for local culture. It's a day to celebrate the giants of the sea, to build community, and to experience l'Estartit through music, festivities, and maritime identity.
