Cubelles Paella Competition

Cubelles celebrates another edition of its Paella Competition, a gastronomic and festive day that will bring together cooking groups and participants in the Plaça del Mercat in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The event will combine cooking, music, and activities throughout the day, aiming to become a meeting point for food lovers and those who enjoy socializing.

The day will begin in the morning with the collection of race numbers and the allocation of spaces for the participating groups, who will compete by making their own pans. The competition is open to groups of at least ten people, and places will be limited on a first-come, first-served basis.

During the midday, the teams will prepare their recipes while the venue features music and entertainment provided by various DJs. Afterwards, the participating paellas will be presented, followed by a communal lunch before the awards ceremony for the best dishes.

The festivities will continue in the afternoon with live music and activities designed to maintain the festive atmosphere throughout the day. The organizers emphasize that the Paella Competition has become a key event on the local calendar, promoting community participation, local cuisine, and camaraderie among groups and participants.

The activity is promoted by El Cubell and the Cubelles City Council with the support of local businesses and entities in the municipality.
