Cunit Carnival

The Cunit Carnival will explode again this year with the Grand Parade of Floats and Groups as the main event!

The story of the Cunit Carnival begins after the summer of 1987, when a group of Cunit residents decided to organize the Carnival festivities. It began in 1988. The project gradually took shape, encouraged by the initial positive response from the community. Finally, about twenty people from different social backgrounds within the town agreed to formalize and organize the first Cunit Carnival.

It was decided that the central focus of the festival would be the parade of floats, a costume ball, and a children's party. Thus, the first groups of floats began to be organized, evolving over the years and incorporating new ideas and themes that have enriched the celebration.

Carnival is one of the most renowned cultural events, with a significant impact far beyond the municipality, attracting thousands of locals and visitors year after year. The festival is not only a time for fun but also an opportunity for the community to showcase its creativity and traditions. The elaborately decorated floats and original costumes reflect the imagination and effort of the participants.

Furthermore, the Cunit Carnival is not limited to just the parade. Throughout the festivities, a variety of activities are scheduled, including concerts, shows, and workshops for the whole family, ensuring that everyone can enjoy a unique and memorable experience.
