Lets get to work, were building the Atarazanas! - Barcelona Maritime Museum
Organized by: Museu Marítim de Barcelona
How were the Atarazanas built? Do the stones hide any secrets? Or perhaps we can see them with the naked eye and they go unnoticed? Do you dare to be part of the construction of the Atarazanas?
In this activity, we'll explore a true architectural treasure: the Barcelona Shipyards. You'll be able to participate in their construction, applying ancient techniques to create stone arches. You can even make your own stonemason's mark with clay and take your creation home!
- Family activity with limited capacity
- Date: third Sunday of March, April, May, October and November 2026
- Time: at 11 and 12:15 h.
- Activity duration: 1 hour.
- Price: €4.50 for children and adults (does not include museum entrance).
- Reserve your spot!
The activity "Hands-on, we build the Royal Shipyards!" is part of the program "Royal Shipyards: stones that explain Barcelona", developed within the framework of the designation of Barcelona as World Capital of Architecture 2026 by UNESCO-UIA.
