Journey to the bottom of the sea in a bathyscaphe - MMB
Organized by: Museu Marítim de Barcelona
What is the seabed like? What species live there? Why is underwater observation and exploration difficult? What dangers might we encounter at sea?
To explore the ocean floor without getting wet, there's nothing better than a bathyscaphe trip. Using a story as a guide and a digital video filmed in the planetarium, a slow descent through the water will be simulated in a bathyscaphe, allowing us to see the animals that live in this habitat.
Now, the program has been enhanced with new real-time content and is specifically designed for families with young children. It's a journey with strong ecological value, where we'll discover the flora and fauna of the seabed, but also its fragility.
*Activity for families with children over 3 years old.
- Dates: fourth Sunday of the month.
- Time: at 11:30 and 12:45 h.
- Activity duration: 1 hr.
- Price: €2.50 for children and €4 for adults (does not include museum entrance).
