Come celebrate Women's Day at Port de la Selva!
The day's main event will be "Històries d'una boomer" (Stories of a Boomer), a comedic monologue performed by Mayte Carreras. This introspective, ironic, and relatable monologue, aimed specifically at a female audience, gives voice to shared life experiences with a critical, tender, and very funny perspective. It's the perfect show for laughing, seeing yourself reflected in the audience, and sparking conversation.
The activity is free and is part of the commemoration events for March 8th, with the aim of offering a space for cultural and protest gatherings through theater and humor.
In addition, the church will be specially illuminated during the day to mark International Women's Day, a symbolic gesture that aims to highlight the importance of the date and reinforce the municipality's commitment to equality.
