Cervera has added a new cultural and tourist attraction with "La mà de ferro" (The Iron Hand), a theatrical tour that invites the public to discover the history, secrets, and legends of the Santa Maria bell tower through an immersive and dramatized experience. The initiative combines heritage, theater, and oral tradition to offer a unique way to explore one of the city's most emblematic landmarks.

The activity features two characters who guide visitors through historical accounts and popular legends linked to the bell tower. The experience particularly highlights the legendary figure of the man with the iron hand, a mysterious character who, according to the oral tradition of the Campaners of Cervera, protected the bell tower and ensured that no one harmed it. This blend of fact and legend makes the visit a unique and atmospheric cultural experience.

The project was written and directed by Pol Bosch and features local actors who bring the main characters to life, strengthening the connection between heritage and local culture. The dramatization allows the public to discover the monument from a more emotional and participatory perspective, far removed from conventional tours.

"La mà de ferro" was created with the aim of expanding Cervera's cultural and tourist offerings and showcasing the city's historical heritage through innovative formats. The initiative is driven by the Cervera Bell Ringers Association and the Parish of Santa Maria, with the participation and support of various cultural entities and institutions in the region.

With this proposal, Cervera is committed to an original way of disseminating local history and turning heritage into a living, attractive and accessible experience for all audiences.
