Presentation of the book El Puigneró (Santa Maria d'Oló) in Tona

The Catalina Figueras Library in Tona will host the presentation of the book El Puigneró (Santa María d'Oló), by Carles Puigferrat i Oliva, a work that invites you to discover the history of a farmhouse and a family from Moianès.

Through this work, the author brings us closer to the memory of a specific space, but also to a way of understanding the territory, family roots and the heritage legacy hidden behind the houses, landscapes and stories that have been passed down from generation to generation.

The book highlights the role of traditional Catalan farmhouses (masías) as living witnesses to local history. Beyond the stones and documents, each farmhouse preserves memories, connections, ways of life, and stories that help us better understand the evolution of the country and its people. In this sense, El Puigneró is a gateway to the past, but also an invitation to preserve collective memory.
