National Day of Catalonia in Vilademuls

Vilademuls celebrates Catalonia's National Day with various activities and a large community meal!

The program will begin at noon with a welcome address and the reading of the manifesto, one of the central moments of the celebration. This event will kick off a day marked by the commemorative nature of September 11th and by the participation of those attending.

Culture and the local area will also play a prominent role. Throughout the day, visitors can explore a photographic exhibition dedicated to the municipality's flora, featuring images from a photography competition. This initiative offers a glimpse into the natural richness of Vilademuls through the eyes of the participants and allows them to discover some of the most representative plant species in the area.

After the midday events, there will be refreshments for attendees, offering a more relaxed moment to continue sharing the celebration.

In the afternoon, traditional Catalan music will take center stage with a sardana dance. The traditional song will provide the soundtrack to one of the most representative expressions of Catalan popular culture, inviting everyone to enjoy an afternoon of dance and tradition.

National Day in Vilademuls thus proposes a simple and close celebration that combines the institutional aspect with photography, nature, gastronomy and sardanas.
