Saus Festival

Saus is in the midst of celebrating its Fiesta Mayor, and we assure you that you won't want to miss this weekend full of excitement and activities for all tastes.

The events will begin on Thursday the 11th with a solemn mass at the Church of Santa Eugènia, a meeting point for all residents. On Friday the 12th, popular music will take center stage with a sardana dance by the Cobla La Principal de Porqueres, at 6:30 p.m.

The festival really gets going on Saturday the 13th, with a popular walk around the village and a visit to the Pi de la Lluïsa mountain starting at 9:00 a.m. This will be followed by a popular ping-pong tournament at 10:00 a.m., open to everyone. In the evening, at 9:00 p.m., there will be a traditional butifarrada (sausage) with a full menu for just €7, including gluten-free options. The evening continues with a concert by the group Di-Gentlemen's, followed by lively music and the mobile disco La Canya, which will round off the day with rhythm and festivities.

On Sunday the 14th, at 11:00 a.m., a residents' breakfast will be held, with hot chocolate, petanque, and Catalan skittles, designed to encourage coexistence and participation.

The festival will feature a bar and children's inflatables throughout the weekend, thanks to the organization of the Saus Neighborhood and Friends Association and the collaboration of the City Council. A celebration that keeps the community spirit and tradition alive.
