Grape Festival in Masquefa

Masquefa will once again be filled with festivities with a new edition of the Gracimo Festival, organized by the Town Council in collaboration with Masquefa Comerç. A day that pays tribute to the town's winemaking roots and combines cultural, culinary, and recreational activities designed for all ages.

Throughout the day, Josep M. Vila Square will host the Tasting Fair —with wines and cavas, restaurants, pastries, and cured meats—open from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Tickets can be purchased on Escoles Street. The program will kick off with entertainment from Raïmet, while the Casal d'Avis will host the exhibition "Art among Vineyards, Cava, and Wine" and painting workshops for both children and adults. At 12 p.m., the musical theater group "Dolça Vida" will perform a musical medley.

The celebration will also include family activities such as children's face painting and chocolate and grape fondue, as well as activities for adults, such as a demonstration of how to make spirits and distillates, including a tasting. Live music will begin with El canto de las Ofelias (1:30 p.m.) and continue into the afternoon with performances by Clara de Noche and Airus Band, while in the evening it will be D-Covers ' turn.

One of the most special moments will be the parade with the Bandsonats band, which will culminate with the traditional grape stomping (7:30 p.m.). Just before that, the Tastavins Competition will be held (7:00 p.m.), with prizes for the top three finishers.

The festival will also feature a Purple Punt, offering information, advice, and support for any sexual assault or sexist behavior. It will be open on Saturday, September 13, from 8:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., in Josep M. Vila Square.
