Gargar Festival in Penelles
Gargar Festival is an artistic event dedicated to muralism that has been held since 2016 in Penelles, at the foot of the Bellmunt-Almenara mountain range.
The Festival wants to spread artistic culture in the rural world, making Penelles a benchmark, involving people in a unique and different theme that everyone can feel proud of, revitalizing the town and promoting tourism.
The Gargar Festival of Murals and Rural Art was born from the need and the firm will to grant a differential added value to the municipality of Penelles. The objective is to value, promote and give visibility to street art and other forms of artistic intervention in rural public spaces.
The Gargar Festival of Murals and Rural Art is an initiative created by Binomic.cat with the support of the Penelles City Council and the Lleida Provincial Council.
