Camp 1810 at Hostalric Castle

On February 21st and 22nd, the Hostalric fortress will be transformed into a scene from the past with the arrival of Camp 1810, a reenactment of a pivotal period in the country's history that will allow visitors to experience history firsthand. It will be a special weekend to discover or rediscover the municipality's heritage in a unique setting.

The activity is organized by the 79th Camerons reenactment group, in collaboration with the Miquelets of Girona. The encampment will offer an immersive experience inside the castle, where visitors can see firsthand what life was like during that era. There will be period uniforms, scenes of daily life, historical explanations, and meticulously crafted sets that will help transport children and adults alike to a key moment in history.
