Bisue gathering in Llavorsí
Every second weekend in May, after mass, a quarter-kilo loaf of bread is distributed to all attendees (Biuse's charity), and scattered around the meadows, the pilgrims prepare lunch or bring it already made from home for the occasion.
The celebration takes place at this iconic site, where tradition is kept alive year after year. The central event is the mass, a moment of reflection and connection with the heritage and history of the place, which marks the beginning of the day.
From there, the atmosphere transforms into a party with music and dance taking center stage. The afternoon continues with the first dance at Biuse, featuring Elisabeth Majoral, who will bring rhythm and joy to a unique space surrounded by nature. It's the perfect opportunity to enjoy dancing, reconnect with friends, and share the experience with other attendees.
The party then moves to Llavorsí, where the celebration continues with another dance session in Biuse Square. This second part extends the festive day and allows everyone to keep enjoying the music in a more urban, yet equally welcoming, atmosphere.
The Aplec de Biuse is much more than a program of events: it's an event that combines tradition, popular culture, and community, where the landscape and the community come together. It's the perfect opportunity to spend the day outdoors, reconnect with local traditions, and experience a day full of excitement and good vibes.
