Bellmunt d'Urgell

Bellmunt d'Urgell is a municipality located in the region of La Noguera and situated on top of a hill 379 meters above sea level. This location makes it known as «L'Espia d'Urgell» or the «Balcón del Urgell» thanks to its magnificent views both from the north face, where you can see a magnificent perspective of the Pyrenees, and from its south face, where you can see the entire Plana del Urgell.

This fact means that in the same municipality there are up to 3 viewpoints: the Vistas al Montsec viewpoint that faces the Pyrenees, the Plana d'Urgell viewpoint where you can see the entire plain of Urgell and the Vistas de la Plana viewpoint which is focused on the Pillar of Almenara.

In addition, in Bellmunt there are also very interesting points of tourist interest such as the Gothic-Renaissance church, the little shop, which is a stone building where the monks of Poblet used to sell, and the Calle Mayor where there are houses with voussoir portals, with a medieval.
