Sant Jaume de Llierca is celebrating another edition of its Tribute to the Elderly, a day dedicated to recognizing and honoring the town's senior citizens. The event, with its deeply emotional atmosphere, becomes a space for retirees, as well as family members and neighbors who wish to join in, to meet and socialize.

The program begins with a Mass at the parish church, an event that kicks off the day in a solemn and reflective atmosphere. Following this, a group photograph is taken, a symbolic moment that captures the essence of the celebration and reinforces the sense of belonging to the community.

One of the central points of the festival is the brotherhood lunch, a perfect occasion to share a table, memories and conversations in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

The afternoon continues with music and entertainment, featuring a concert and dance performance by the band Blue Moon. This musical offering invites everyone to enjoy themselves, dance, and keep the party going in a cheerful and festive atmosphere, designed for everyone to participate.

The event is organized by the Sant Jaume de Llierca City Council in collaboration with the Casal de la Gent Gran, thus reaffirming the municipality's commitment to the well-being and active participation of older people.
