This event is over.

The space, a benchmark for leisure activities linked to nature, has consolidated itself year after year and has already exceeded 330,000 visitors since its opening in 2012.

MónNatura Delta de l'Ebre, the environmental center managed by the Catalonia La Pedrera Foundation in the Ebro Delta, reopens its doors this Friday, February 13, with a wide range of activities and proposals to experience and learn about this unique environment.

Birdwatching, traditional fishing, and the landscape are the main focuses of the visits and workshops, as well as the independent and guided experiences at the center. The visit allows visitors to enjoy a privileged natural environment, observe diverse bird species from the 360º viewpoint, sail on a pontoon boat, watch the audiovisual presentation "The Four Seasons in the Delta," or learn about traditional fishing techniques. Furthermore, since last year, the center has featured a new interactive exhibition space dedicated to climate change, with the aim of raising awareness about the need to preserve this essential ecosystem.

Once again, the facility is offering the popular "Children's Visit," a key activity for understanding the Ebro Delta, designed especially for children. Every weekend and holiday, boys and girls can discover the delta's environment, learning about iconic birds like flamingos and participating in traditional activities such as fishing with reeds or sailing in traditional boats.

For families, "Pirate Mission," the activity launched last season to great acclaim, will continue throughout the summer months. The pirates of the Ebro Delta were known for raiding ships and controlling the salt trade, a highly prized commodity. At MónNatura Delta, participants can delve into this fascinating history and discover the importance of the salt flats through an adventure-filled experience steeped in historical narrative.

New this season, the center will offer a new audio-guided activity for families, designed to explore the Delta in a fun and engaging way. Through a self-guided tour, children and adults alike can discover the different areas at their own pace, delving into the biodiversity, landscapes, and traditions of the region with tailored explanations and interactive activities that stimulate observation and curiosity.

This summer, coinciding with the total solar eclipse scheduled for August 12th and which will be especially visible from the Ebro Delta, MónNatura joins this exceptional event to offer the opportunity to experience the astronomical phenomenon in a privileged environment and bring science and astronomy closer in an experiential and accessible way.

In autumn, and open to all audiences, birds - and especially the flamingos of the Ebro Delta - will be the protagonists of "Get to know the birds of the Delta", a special activity to discover curiosities and details of the most representative birds of this natural space.

Located in an incomparable natural setting amidst rice paddies and lagoons, MónNatura Delta opened in March 2012 and has established itself as a leading center for nature-based activities. Since its opening, it has welcomed over 330,000 visitors and each year offers nearly 700 activities and workshops on ornithology, nature, and Delta traditions for all ages. The center also hosts the annual Delta Birding Festival.

The Catalunya La Pedrera Foundation, through centers such as MónNatura Delta , reaffirms its commitment to sustainability and the conservation of the natural environment, promoting innovative initiatives to build a better future for all.
