Visit Kenshô in the Ebro Delta and discover the world of sake and miso. To the only Mediterranean kura!

The visit takes place at Kan Kenshô, a family farmhouse located in L'Ampolla.

  • Learn about the Ebro Delta Natural Park and its rice culture.
  • Discover and taste sake, miso and other Japanese ferments.

The duration of the visit is 1.5 hours and consists of 3 parts:

  • We begin the visit with an explanation about the rice culture and the Ebro Delta Natural Park while we taste the first sake or amazake for those who do not drink alcohol.
  • Afterwards, you'll visit the fermentation room to learn more about the process of making koji, sake, and miso.
  • Finally, in the tasting room you will try 3 types of Kenshô sake accompanied by a tasting of misos, tamaris and amazakes.
