Snail Fair in Albi

The much-anticipated Snail Fair returns to L'Albi for another year!

The day begins early with a fair breakfast and all-day bar service, creating a festive atmosphere from the morning. Then, the fair opens in the old town, where visitors can stroll among a variety of stalls and discover local products, crafts, and other offerings.

During the morning, you can also visit a curious exhibition of cologne bottles, which adds a unique cultural touch to the event. Inflatables are set up in a designated area for children, ensuring fun for the whole family. In addition, a musical parade enlivens the fairgrounds and contributes to the festive atmosphere.

One of the highlights is the snail tapas tasting, the undisputed stars of the fair. These tastings, organized by various entities, also have a charitable aspect, as part of the proceeds goes to local improvement projects in the municipality.

At midday, the festivities continue with the traditional fair lunch in the sports hall, featuring a full menu that includes typical dishes and options for adults and children. The day is rounded out with live music and dancing, creating a space for community and celebration.
