Sidamon celebrates Sant Jordi's Day!
Sant Jordi is one of the most beloved and cherished traditions of the Catalans. And what a beautiful tradition we have in Catalonia! Although tradition dictates that men give a rose to their sweetheart and women a book to their sweetheart, nowadays it's about celebrating free love and literature.
Come and experience a unique Sant Jordi's Day in Sidamon. The Sidamon Senior Citizens' Association is organizing a festive afternoon to celebrate Sant Jordi, combining tradition, culture, and community in an atmosphere open to everyone.
The event includes a free hot chocolate gathering, a sardana dance performance, and a book stall, in collaboration with the Sidamon Tobacco Shop. It's the perfect opportunity to enjoy a day out with family and friends, keeping cherished traditions alive.
The activity will take place on Saturday at 5 p.m., in the Plaza del Centro de Servicios, and is intended for all audiences.
A perfect opportunity to share culture, music and sweets in a festive and friendly environment.
