Rice and Artichoke Festival in Amposta

The Rice and Artichoke Festival returns to Amposta for another year!

Amposta hosts another edition of the Rice and Artichoke Festival, a gastronomic event designed to showcase two of the region's most emblematic products. The event has become a must-attend for lovers of fine cuisine, local produce, and a festive atmosphere.

Throughout the day, the October 1st fairgrounds will be filled with flavors, music, and activities for all ages. Local restaurants will offer tastings featuring rice and artichokes, allowing visitors to discover creative and traditional dishes that reflect the rich gastronomy of the Terres de l'Ebre region. In addition, attendees can enjoy a popular tasting of the classic dish of roasted meat and artichokes, a long-standing and much-anticipated option.

The festival will also feature a Km0 Produce Market, where local producers will offer high-quality, locally sourced food, perfect for taking home the best of the region. The culinary experience will be rounded out with wine tastings, a bar, and continuous background music.

Music will be a highlight of the day, with DJ sets, perfect for after lunch, and a live performance by the Suc d'Anguila brass band, which will bring rhythm and excitement to the fairgrounds.
