In July, outdoor literature returns to the courtyard of the Baldiri Reixac Library in Santa Cristina d'Aro!
A proposal that will fill the courtyard of the Baldiri Reixac Library with words, music, stories and shared encounters.
The series offers activities for diverse audiences, combining literature, storytelling, music, and conversation in a welcoming, summery atmosphere. It's an ideal opportunity to discover new voices, listen to stories, be moved by music, and experience the library as an open, vibrant, and participatory space.
The program will begin with a family-friendly offering: Story Time "Deu princesetes" (Ten Little Princesses), a musical tale performed by La Sal de Olot, designed especially for children. This imaginative activity will also serve to launch the "Guanyem un estiu lector" (Let's Have a Summer of Reading) project, an invitation to keep the love of reading alive during the holidays.
Music will also play a prominent role with "Bolérame," a performance for adults that will combine voice, piano, and double bass in an intimate and evocative evening. With Lluís González, Sandra Fern, and Pedrito Martínez, the library courtyard will become the perfect setting to surrender to the rhythm and emotion.
The cycle will be completed with a reading club with Ramon Gener, focusing on his novel "Història d'un piano", a meeting designed to converse, share impressions and approach the author and his work in a direct and enriching way.
All activities are free and invite you to experience literature in a fresh, close and special way, in a perfect environment to enjoy summer afternoons.
