Organ Cycle in the Sénia

The Sénia Organ Cycle returns to fill the summer with music!

La Sénia is preparing to host a new edition of its Organ Cycle, a consolidated cultural proposal that invites you to discover the richness and versatility of this instrument in a privileged heritage environment.

The church of Sant Bartomeu will become the main venue for a program that combines the organ with different instruments, ensembles, and artistic disciplines. The concerts will offer varied repertoires and allow audiences to appreciate the many sonic possibilities of an instrument deeply linked to the history of music.

The public will be able to enjoy performances that combine the organ with guitar, opera singing, clarinet, and choral music. There will also be solo organ performances and four-hand concerts, a format that highlights the coordination between performers and the expressive power of the instrument.

The program will feature musicians from diverse backgrounds, as well as local and guest ensembles. This combination will foster a dialogue between artists, styles, and generations, bringing classical music closer to both regular audiences and those wishing to discover it for the first time.

The series will also incorporate collaborations with visual artists and creative collectives. Painting and drawing will share space with music, creating experiences in which sound and image will mutually enrich each other.

The closing event will feature a chamber ensemble, which will broaden the musical palette of the cycle and bring to a close several weeks of concerts.
