The Blessed Bread Festival El Vendrell

The first weekend of July is the starting shot of the festivities of Pan Bendito, of the Fiestas de los Barrios of El Vendrell.

With a liturgical origin, it is currently a week full of party and fun, every day in a different neighborhood, which opens the calendar of summer parties of the municipality.

The rockets and chimes announce the party the next day. Faults reflect the satire of the city's social and political life and, also, healthy competition between neighborhoods. The concentration of couples and the walk through the streets of each of the neighborhoods to bless the cake is the main act. But outdoor dinners and night concerts are also special and expected moments, because they allow us to rediscover ourselves, in a relaxed atmosphere, with neighbors and friends.

For all this, the Blessed Bread festivities are a sign of the thrust of the different commissions of the neighborhoods that organize a series of activities for all tastes and all ages, to which I encourage to continue working with the same enthusiasm so that lose this tradition so characteristic and emblematic of our municipality.
