Giant Pumpkin Fair in Sidamon
A new edition of the Giant Pumpkin Fair is coming to Sidamon!
The event will take place in La Pineda, in a new location that will offer more space and comfort for participants and visitors.
The fair is much more than just a giant pumpkin exhibition: it's a day full of tradition, food, and activities for the whole family. Starting at 9:00 a.m., the program will begin with a traditional sausage feast and the arrival of the participating pumpkins. At 11:00 a.m., the official weigh-in will take place, a key moment to determine which pumpkins are vying for the main prizes. The awards ceremony will be at 12:00 p.m., with prizes including trophies, food products, and cash prizes of up to €500.
From 12:30 to 1:30 pm, food activist Jesús Querol will offer the live cooking workshop "Les Gastrosàvies," a program that celebrates cuisine and diversity, with the participation of the Aspros Foundation. A community lunch will be held at 2:00 pm.
Throughout the day you can enjoy live giant pumpkin carving with the gastronomic artist Judit Comes, as well as stalls selling artisan and local products, an exhibition of antique tractors, children's workshops and a bar service.
Don't miss it!
