Ethno Catalonia Festival in Banyoles
Ethno Catalonia is an international folk festival and residency aimed at musicians (professional or amateur) from all over the world with a passion for folk, traditional and world music. The event offers the opportunity to collaborate, rehearse and participate in a concert tour.
In addition to the international residency, Ethno Catalonia is also a festival of traditional, folk and world music, with a week-long program of open and free concerts in the Plaza Major in Banyoles.
The team of professional artistic mentors will conduct daily workshops and rehearsals with the group to prepare the orchestra's final repertoire for its concert tour in three locations in Catalonia.
Additionally, resident musicians will have the opportunity to play at the festival in small-format performances before embarking on the final three-concert tour as EthnoOrchestra.
