Fair Market on La Bisbal d'Empordà street

La Bisbal d'Empordà celebrates a new edition of its traditional Street Market Fair, a highly anticipated event that fills the streets of the municipality with commercial activity, culture and proposals for the whole family.

Throughout the day, the old town transforms into a large commercial space with the Street Shop, the weekly market, and the street vendors' market, where you can find all kinds of products. Also noteworthy are the antiques, collectibles, and toys market, as well as the Fireta Space, dedicated to children, who can sell secondhand items and crafts.

Art also plays a very important role, with the Art Space where students from the School of Fine Arts and other artists exhibit and sell their work, and with the "La Bisbal, Art and Commerce" initiative, a showcase of local art displayed in the shop windows of more than thirty businesses throughout the town. In addition, pottery wheel workshops allow people of all ages to experiment with this technique so closely linked to the city.

Family activities include a large free children's play area, giant games, children's attractions and the Playmobil Space, while the traditional flower carpet brings back one of the most emblematic images of the festival.

The day also features a craft beer showcase, a music area with DJs, a lace-making exhibition, and a sardana performance with the Principal de Banyoles, keeping the popular and festive spirit alive.

In addition, the Catalonia Open Solgironès WTA125 women's tennis tournament completes a very varied program that makes this fair a great celebration of commerce, culture and local tradition.
