Bisbal d'Empordà Major Festival

La Bisbal d'Empordà takes to the streets once again to celebrate its annual festival, a celebration brimming with tradition, music, and activities for all ages. For several days, squares, gardens, and streets will be transformed into stages where you can reconnect with locals, participate in the festivities, and discover the city's vibrant spirit.

Popular culture will be a central focus of the celebration. The ringing of bells, the opening proclamation, and the traditional breaking of the water jug will give way to parades featuring giants, jackdaws, drums, and emblematic figures. The Eagle, the Dragons, and the rest of the festive imagery will once again fill the old town with color, movement, and excitement.

Fire will also play a prominent role. The storm, the nighttime parades, and the correfoc (fire run) will offer some of the most intense moments, transforming the streets into a grand visual and auditory spectacle.

Music will fill a wide variety of venues, with concerts, dances, electronic music sessions, lively vermouth gatherings, and open-air dance nights. You'll find current acts, emerging bands, traditional music, and performances designed for singing and dancing until late.
