Amposta Market Festival 2026

Between shawls and skirts, between carriages and horses, between songs and dances, a new edition of la Fiesta del Mercado returns in the Plaza de Amposta.

Amposta will return to the beginning of the 20th century in a new edition of this historical recreation festival.

They have become the spring festivities, where citizens of Amposta, entities and those who come from abroad, from the artisans who fill the streets of the old town to the actors of the shows in the city venues, have managed to create a vital pulse. festive where work, illusion and complicity have come together, to recreate in multiple activities the Amposta of 100 years ago.

An impossible party to be able to go ahead if it were not for the strength and drive of all the ampostinos, ampostines and entities of the city, who make this party a stage full of endearing memories and shared illusions that, for a few days, we relive and we honor all those people who made it possible, with their effort and passion, for us to be the city that we are today.

A festival already recognized throughout the territory, which has consolidated a tradition, making it possible for the people of Amposta, their roots and their values to form a space full of commitment and brotherhood that makes, with everyone's effort, year after year a reality.
