Concert for the Capital of the Sardana at the Kursaal in Manresa

This year 2024, when Manresa holds the title of Capital of the Sardana, the band of the Unión Musical del Bages will take to the stage of the Kursaal to offer us a concert created for the occasion with sardana music arranged for a band.

A concert that will open with the 'Sardana de la Capitalidad', composed by Laia Giralt from Manresa, arranged by Dídac Mirallas' band. They will follow a series of sardanas known as 'Serra Amunt', 'Levantina', 'La Reina de las Flores', 'Sant Martí del Canigó', 'Canción de Amor y de Guerra', among others, which have been arranged by the composer and bandleader Concepció Ramió. Dancers from the Sardanista Dintre el Bosc Group, the Esbart of the Casal Cultural Dansaires Manresans and the Esbart Manresà of the Bages Cultural Group will collaborate in some of the pieces.
