Take a hot air balloon ride in the Ebro Delta, Globus Kon-Tiki
Organized by: Globus Kon-Tiki
Discover Catalonia by experiencing a hot air balloon flight. These flights are a perfect choice for those seeking unique and safe activities to enjoy alone or with family and friends.
If you'd like to discover the Ebro Delta from a different perspective, you have the opportunity to take a hot air balloon flight. The flight begins early, just after sunrise. At this time, the wind is more stable, the air is fresher, and the sunlight creates a breathtaking landscape of the canals and the Mediterranean coast. The meeting point is usually near Deltebre; the pilot decides the best launch site depending on the weather conditions and wind direction.
The team greets the passengers, explains the basic safety rules, and anyone who wants to can participate in preparing the balloon: it's inflated with a fan, the crew supervises the assembly, and the pilot performs the final checks. Watching the balloon take shape and rise is already part of the magic of the day.
During the flight, which lasts approximately one hour, you can observe the entire Ebro Delta Natural Park, with its network of rice fields, lagoons, and the sea in the background. You can enjoy a shared balloon ride in small groups of up to 10 participants, an exclusive flight for 2 people, or any number of people.
The feeling of silence and movement makes the journey a truly unique experience, unlike any other excursion. After landing, the team packs up the balloon and usually offers breakfast or a toast before returning to the starting point. The entire activity lasts approximately three hours.
