Puiggròs
In the middle of the Urgell plain, Puiggròs is located on the highest of the three hills in the area, between the eastern and western ones. This location makes the town a privileged viewpoint of the surrounding landscapes: from Puiggròs you can see a good part of the Plà d'Urgell and Urgell, as well as high points of Garrigues such as the Sierra de la Llena or Los Gemelos, for example.
The gentle reliefs of the surroundings make it easy to go for walks, by bike or by car to get to know the type of agriculture in the area, the part irrigated by the Urgell canal or the rainfed part in which, like the most south of the region, there are also olive and almond crops.
